COSMINO develops Reporting: CDA – Cosmino Data Analytics
By susanne.gutermuth@cosmino.de InProduction data forms the basis for quick andi informed decisions in the factory. Whether OEE evaluations, cycle data analysis, quality indicators, or performance deviations - factory managers and production supervisors need a clear view of the actual facts all times. That is why COSMINO is currently fundamentally revising the presentation and user interface of Cosmino Reporting. In the future, reporting will be managed under the name CDA – Cosmino Data Analytics.
Rapid Transparency in the Factory – without additional Reporting Effort in the Project
"With our intrgrated reporting, our customers achieve transparency in the factory from day one - with prepared evaluations that have already proven themselves in numerous factories." Matthias Kohlbrand, Product Manager COSMINO AG In practice, integrated reporting in MES/PDA has proven to be a major advantage in many projects. COSMINO already provides a wide range of tried-and-tested standard evaluations, such as shift reports, quality and downtime analyses. This creates transparency right from the start with the go-live of Cosmino Panteo: the evaluations are available immediately and are based on proven best practices from numerous projects. Manufacturing companies do not have to think about which reports to set up at the start of a project or integrate an additional BI tool for this purpose. If necessary, these standard reports can be customized or expanded later. This proven approach is a key reason why COSMINO continues to rely on integrated reporting in PDA and MES. In practice, the specialist departments work directly with the Cosmino evaluations, whereby data or key figures can also be transferred to BI systems if required, for example for group reporting.
Faster Analysis, Modern Design, and more Flexibility in Presentation
With CDA – Cosmino Data Analytics, COSMINO is completely modernizing the presentation and user interface of its reporting system. Proven functions such as export options, graphical or tabular displays, and drilldowns to detail and hierarchy levels remain unchanged. Drill cross navigation to related evaluations also continues to enable direct switching between analyses. At the same time, reporting is getting a modern, responsive user interface, new chart types, and significantly expanded filter options. This will allow key figures to be analyzed even more flexibly in the future and quickly tracked from the management overview to the detailed analysis. In the future, work is also underway on the integration of a chatbot that users can use to directly query key figures, trends, or background information. The introduction of CDA – Cosmino Data Analytics isplanned for this year and will be part of the Cosmino Panteo product.
